A NEW CAMPAIGN IN ALBUQUERQUE THAT ORGANIZED HOPE WILL POSSIBLY GET YOU TO THINK OF THE HOMELESS IN A NEW LIGHT. THE CAMPAIGN WAS LAUNCHED TUESDAY BY THE NON-PROFIT HEADING HOME AND ALBUQUERQUE’S FAMILY AND COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT.
IT’S CALLED “TWO SIDES TO A STORY” AND MAYOR R-J BERRY TELLS NEWSRADIO KKOB IT INVOLVES PLACING POSTERS AND BILLBOARDS IN CERTAIN LOCATIONS, GIVING TWO PERSPECTIVES ON BECOMING HOMELESS … WITH ONE PROVIDING MORE INSIGHT. THE FIRST POSTER WENT UP TUESDAY AT THE TAYLOR RANCH COMMUNITY CENTER, DETAILING HOW A 10 YEAR BECAME HOMELESS.
THE POSTERS ARE PAID FOR WITH 5-THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM HEADING HOME.
