Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — “Operation Bosque Guardian” has officially ended, with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office reporting major cleanup and outreach efforts in the Bosque. Over 8,400 pounds of trash were removed, 42 camps cleared, and 642 contacts made. The initiative involved multiple agencies, including behavioral health teams and drone support. Two arrests were made, and several individuals were connected with shelter and mental health services. Deputies say they’ll continue monitoring the area to prevent future encampments.
