Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Santa Fe police responded to a stabbing Saturday afternoon at Cerrillos and Rodeo roads. Officers found 32-year-old Reynaldo Medina injured at the scene. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died. Detectives identified Chester Gutierrez as the suspect. Gutierrez was arrested and hospitalized before being booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. He faces charges of homicide and resisting arrest. Police say Gutierrez is believed to be homeless and has a history of criminal charges, including a previous murder arrest.
