Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The mayoral roundtable held today in Albuquerque was a full house. All 6 candidates, Tim Keller, Mayling Armijo, Darren White, Eddie Varela, Alexander Uballez and Louie Sanchez were present to respond to questions. While all of the contenders agreed to keeping the State Fair at its current location, it was one of the few points of agreement. When asked what would help to reduce the high Albuquerque crime rate current Mayor Tim Keller touted the effectiveness of recent technological investments made by his administration. However opponent Louie Sanchez said that tech investment would have been better spent on actual boots on the ground by filling the ranks of APD.
