ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico State Police executed two residential search warrants in Albuquerque on October 10 as part of an ongoing crackdown on illegal drug activity in Bernalillo County.
The operation, led by the Crime Suppression Bureau (CSB) with support from the State Police Tactical Team, resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of significant quantities of illegal narcotics.
At one residence, Felipe S. Almaguer, 70, was arrested and charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Possession with Intent to Distribute). Officers seized:
- 656.6 grams (1.45 pounds) of cocaine
- 47.6 grams of crack cocaine
At a second location, Terry Brown, 72, was arrested on the same charge. Agents recovered:
- 1.2 grams of crack cocaine
The search warrants were the result of detailed investigations conducted by CSB Narcotics Agents. State Police say the operation is part of a broader effort to disrupt drug trafficking networks and reduce crime in the region.
Both suspects were booked and face felony charges. The investigation remains ongoing.
