UNM Hospital Employee Killed in Pedestrian Crash Near Campus

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A University of New Mexico Hospital employee was killed Thursday evening in a crash involving a pedestrian near the hospital.

According to Albuquerque Police, the incident happened around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Lomas Boulevard and Stanford Drive. A spokesperson for UNMH confirmed the victim was a hospital employee.

Details surrounding the crash remain limited. Police have not released information about the driver or what led to the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
