Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Today the New Mexico Economic Development Department announced there has been continued strong national rankings in employment and wage growth within the manufacturing sector. New Mexico ranked sixth in the nation for year-over-year growth in manufacturing employment, recording a 1.4 percent increase. Over the same period, national manufacturing employment declined by 0.6 percent. New Mexico ranked fifth in the nation for average weekly wage growth in manufacturing, with wages rising 5.7 percent.
