ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Thursday morning in the city’s northwest.
Officers responded shortly after 3 a.m. to reports of a disturbance and gunfire at a residence located in the 6300 block of Pastorcito Drive NW, near Ladera Drive. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased male inside the home.
APD’s Homicide Unit has launched an investigation into the incident. No details have been released about the victim’s identity or any possible suspects.
Police have not said what may have led to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
