ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Thursday night at a West Side apartment complex.
Officers responded to the Rio Volcan Apartments, located at 1919 Ladera Drive NW, around 11:30 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
APD homicide detectives are leading the investigation. No additional details, including suspect information or motive, have been released.
