Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The San Ignacio Church in Martinez Town is hosting an exhibit featuring collections of statues of the Virgin Mary, and what it means to cultures around the world. The exhibit features over 150 collections of statues of Mary, representing each continent and different parts of the globe. The purpose of the exhibit is to promote world peace by bringing people together to see the statues, and learn about Mary’s impact and meaning. The free event at the Ave Maria Exhibit Center will be open September 15th through the 22nd, from 2 – 5 p.m.
