A single-vehicle rollover crash in Albuquerque left one person dead and another critically injured Sunday afternoon.
Albuquerque police were dispatched around 4:16 p.m. to the area of Pan American Freeway NE and Montano Road NE. According to a news release, the vehicle rolled onto dirt along the on-ramp from Montano Road to southbound Interstate 25. No other vehicles were involved.
The front passenger died at the scene. The driver was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash. Drivers were advised to avoid the area while the scene was being cleared.
