
Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A street racing crash in Las Vegas, NM in early June resulted in the deaths of two young men and three others facing vehicular homicide charges. Police reports say one of the deceased, Orlando Romero recorded his driving on a dashcam when he hit a median launching his car into the air. Romero’s passenger, Marquez Espinoza, also died. Another teen facing charges, Esiquel Lopez, told investigators about an app the teens used to share locations and car speeds. Police say five vehicles were racing including one with a minor behind the wheel. In addition to Lopez, Ethan Ray Alarcon and Kaden Martinez are all facing vehicular homicide and reckless driving charges.
