Dispute leads to shooting downtown

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Albuquerque police responded to two shootings downtown on Sunday. In one case, Silvan Monarco allegedly shot his girlfriend and her relative near the Kimo Theater during a dispute. In another, Nathaniel Aguirre is accused of approaching a car near Gold and 2nd and shooting at two women, injuring one. Both suspects were arrested. Monarco faces aggravated battery charges, while Aguirre is charged with assault and shooting from a vehicle.
