Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Thursday Lawrence Vigil and Rito Gonzalez-Polanco were arrested by APD and booked into the Metro Detention Center. Vigil was observed by officers start a bait vehicle with a screwdriver and drive to a residence at 101 Riverside Dr. NW. Upon arrival at the scene multiple people at the property were witnessed removing bait property from the vehicle and hidden inside the home. A search of the property led detectives to recover two additional stolen trucks – a Ford F-350 and a Chevrolet. Vigil faces charges of Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle and Auto Burglary. Gonzalez-Polanco has been charged with Conspiracy, Concealing Identity and Outstanding Warrants.
