
Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Its quieter in Downtown Albuquerque this summer – and city leaders say that’s a result of increased enforement efforts. The mayor and police chief announced the drops in all types of crime, from last summer. Chief Harold Medina says shootings are down 20-percent, auto theft down nearly 30-percent and robbery is down by 12-and a half percent. Mayor Keller says the results come from staying focused and putting the right resources where they’re needed
