Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Denise Vasquez-Browley will be held behind bars through her trial. She’s facing charges for the death of her 10 year old foster child. The baby died after being brought to the UNM Hospital on June 16th. Doctors said the baby had a brain bleed caused by abuse. Vasquez-Browley told police the child was having a medical emergency, but they say messages on her phone lead them to believe she may have been abusing the child. There were four additional foster children in the home as well as three biological children. They have been placed into the CYFD custody.
