Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Bernalillo County is set to receive nearly $26 million in state funding for housing, health, and public safety projects. The Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the resolution this week, accepting $25.9 million in capital outlay from the New Mexico Legislature. About $19.4 million will go directly to county-led initiatives, while over $6.5 million is earmarked for local nonprofits. The funds will support affordable housing, behavioral health, infrastructure, and youth programs.
