Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The City of Las Vegas has announced a new partnership with the state to accelerate construction of water treatment facilities. The city’s water system was heavily damaged by the 2022 Hermit’s Peak Calf Canyon Fire and repeated flooding. The $98 million project, funded by Congress, will support both short- and long-term solutions to restore safe and reliable water service.
