Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A new wildfire—the Twin Cabins Fire—sparked Monday in the Jemez Ranger District near the Valles Caldera. Crews are on scene with a full suppression response. Elsewhere, the Trout Fire continues to burn north of Silver City, now at 33% containment. The Buck Fire southeast of Aragon is holding at 91% contained, and the Desert Willow Complex has lifted evacuations as crews mop up hot spots. Fire officials urge caution as fire season intensifies across the state.
