Is there blood in the water in Donald Trump’s campaign? After his dust-up with Megyn Kelly and his comment of “blood out of her eyes, her whatever…” it does not seem to faze the Trump campaign. He is still is leading in almost all national polls and has a commanding lead in the first primary. People are outraged over Fox News’ treatment of Trump, and some are outraged over Trump’s perceived misogyny. It seems there is nothing that will derail the Trump campaign. Even though the mainstream media is waiting with baited breath for anything that will bring him down, Trump has tapped into something that America has been looking for since Reagan left office. We want to feel good about ourselves, we don’t want to apologize for being Americans or for our values. That is why the Trump campaign has been so successful so far, and that is why Trump himself is the only person who can stop himself.
