Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A fire at an abandoned indoor go-kart facility on Copper Ave and Truman St on Wednesday morning, may be the results of squatters. Firefighters used a defensive strategy to combat the blaze because its roof was at risk of collapsing. They were able to get it under control in 40 minutes. Damage mostly contained to a second-floor office. AFR said that based on the burned materials found inside, it is likely that unauthorized squatters sparked the fire.
