Santa Fe city budget passed

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The Santa Fe City Council passed their annual budget Wednesday. The $479-million spending plan is not much different from the current year’s budget. City Manager Mark Scott notes there’s a 3-percent raise for municipal employees, and there’s more money for park maintenance. The budget also has funding for more paving projects. It now is submitted to the State Department of Finance for final approval, and begins on July 1st.
