Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Forbes magazine has released its list on the wealthiest person in every state. The 54 entrepreneurs, investors and heirs on the 2025 ranking, including ties, are worth a record $2 trillion combined, up $400 billion since last year’s list. In New Mexico the top spot went to Ron Corio of Albuquerque. The 63 year old solar businessman has an estimated worth of $1.7 billion. While at least one of America’s 868 billionaires can be found in almost every state, nearly two-thirds of them live in just four: California – with 194, New York with 137, Florida with 116 and Texas with 81.
