Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Nathaniel Gutierrez was in court today (Wed) for the death of 18 year-old Michael Gallegos at the Barelas Community Center parking lot last year. Gutierrez, along with two accomplices planned to rob Gallegos and spent weeks before the murder planning the crime. Gutierrez was sentenced to 17 years in prison as part of a plea deal. Another accomplice, Jeffery Jojola, also took a plea deal and was sentenced to 15 years behind bars. The third individual involved in the murder, Robert Rodriguez, is due in court next week for sentencing.
