Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The Metro Youth Art Exhibit is now open to the public. The exhibit features 1200 examples of APS middle and high school art with every school represented in the professionally juried art exhibit. The show with an all time highest number of participants officially opens today (Wed) and runs through April 28th. The City of Albuquerque Public Arts Program and Bernalillo County will continue their tradition of selecting pieces for their permanent collections. UNM Art, Frank Frost Photography and NM United will each award a scholarship to a high school senior. The exhibit is free and open to the public, Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm. at the APS Berna Facio Professional Development Complex at Louisiana and Comanche.
