Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A special meeting will be held tonight for Edgewood residents due to the current fire and emergency services set to end for the community. Beginning July 1st Santa Fe County will no longer serve the town of Edgewood. Tonight’s meeting will cover what will happened after that for the communities over 6,000 residents. Residents are asking town leaders to come up with a plan because public safety isn’t optional. Tonight’s meeting begins at 5pm and organizers are asking residents to begin arriving by 4:30.
