Las Cruces, NM (KKOB) – Jurors are expected to begin deliberations Tuesday afternoon in the trial of Josiah Ontiveros, the youngest of four suspects arrested for the mass shooting at Young Park in Las Cruces in March of 2025. Closing arguments were held Tuesday morning in the trial of the 16-year old who is charged with three counts of first degree murder in the shooting. Three young men were killed and over a dozen injured on the night of March 21st 2025 following an unsanctioned car show at the park. Two brothers also charged for their involvement in the murders have already been found guilty and are awaiting their sentences.
