ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO – Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is traveling to Madrid today to take part in an international summit focused on education, history, and business development.
The trip includes participation in discussions examining the shared history between the United States and Spain, as well as meetings with Spanish business leaders to explore potential investment opportunities. Those discussions are expected to focus on areas including energy innovation and emerging technology.
The governor’s travel to Spain is being paid for by the Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino, which is hosting the summit.
While Governor Lujan Grisham is out of the country, Lieutenant Governor Howie Morales will assume gubernatorial duties until her return.
