Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Police are investigating a critical injury crash Thursday morning in the area of San Mateo and Montgomery where a female driver crashed and was taken to the hospital where at last report she was in critical condition. Officers responded to a report of the crash around 5:15 a.m. A single vehicle hit a light pole on southbound San Mateo and crashed into the parking lot at a Walgreens.
Police are asking motorists to avoid the area for the next few hours.
