Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue investigators are looking into the cause of an early morning fire Wednesday at a bible center in Southeast Albuquerque. Fire crews responded to the Yeah Interfaith Bible Center on the 500 block of Mesilla SE just before 3 a.m. for a call of a commercial structure fire and initially they had reports of people trapped inside. When firefighters arrived, there was heavy smoke and flames showing. Fire crews also went inside the building to determine if anyone was actually inside during the fire. The fire was brought under control within 25 minutes and after doing a search no one was reported to be inside the building. No injuries were reported.
