Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — More than 100 individuals who were in attendance at a Chaves County cockfight were detained and identified. Deputies say that during the course of obtaining the search warrants, approximately 20 individuals attempted to flee from the scene by running from the property, through a field, and behind the residence. All individuals were apprehended, detained and transported back to the scene. Several items of evidentiary value have been seized, such as electronics, ledgers, safes, documentation, laptops, hard drives, roosters and cockfighting equipment.
