Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – An Albuquerque jury convicted Nickolis Taber, also known as Andrew Taber, of Leaving the Scene of an Accident causing (Great Bodily Harm or Death) in relation to an accident that happened in April of last year.
According to video evidence, on April 10, 2025, Taber struck the victim, identified as Tyler Juan, got out of his vehicle, observed the scene, remained briefly, and then left. He contacted police about six hours later about the crash. Taber has not been sentenced.
According to the Bernalillo County DA’s Office, the victim’s family was present and expressed appreciation for the verdict.
