Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Albuquerque Police Department’s Fatal Crash Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened Wednesday evening in Northwest Albuquerque.
Police spokesman Gilbert Gallegos tells News Radio KKOB, the accident happened around 6:40 p.m. in the area of La Orilla Rd NW and Santolina Dr NW in the Taylor Ranch area. When officers arrived to that location the motorcycle driver was dead on the scene.
Initial information on the investigation discovered that a Gray SUV and the motorcycle were driving west on La Orilla when the SUV hit the motorcycle from behind near the intersection with Santolina Drive.
