Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – APD homicide detectives have arrested 46-year old Jeremy Muñoz for his role in a shooting on March 4th that resulted in the death of his friend 41-year old Sean Martin. According to police, the murder was in relation to a domestic dispute between Martin and his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend. Martin had been stalking and harassing his ex-girlfriend and threatening violence against her, family members and friends. On March 4th, Muñoz and Martin were chasing Martin’s ex-girfriend in the North Valley near Aztec Rd where they say 14 gunshots were fired at her vehicle. After driving around the two vehicles met in the area of 8th Street and Menaul where another shooting incident happend. Martin was injured in that shooting, then drove to the area of Menaul and San Mateo where Muñoz called 911. Martin was taken to the hospital where he later died. Muñoz is facing several charges including, 3 counts of Attempt to Commit 1st Degree Murder and 2 counts of Shooting at/from a Motor Vehicle and is in jail at MDC.
