Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A couple has been arrested for a fatal shooting that happened early Tuesday morning. APD homicide detectives arrested Shirley Juras and her boyfriend James Young after Juras said she planned to meet up with a man to have sex in exchange for money. She claimed she needed the money to make a payment on the RV she and her boyfriend were living in. Young said he and Juras met up with Nathan Loos at his northeast heights apartment where Juras agreed to exchange sexual favors for $1,000. Loos only gave her $300 so Juras and Young fled in their RV. Loos chased the RV in his car and Young told detectives he shot Loos two times in the area of Vermont SE. Loos died at the scene. Young is charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, an open count of murder and tampering with evidence. Juras is charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
