Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — New Mexico’s legal cannabis market has surpassed two billion dollars in total sales since recreational use became legal in 2022. According to state data, sales reached that mark in November 2025. Adult-use marijuana has accounted for the majority, bringing in about 1.4 billion dollars, compared to roughly 583 million dollars in medical sales. While overall sales dipped in 2025 from the previous year, they still exceeded totals from earlier years.
