Albuquerque, NM- (KKOB) – The man found guilty of killing an Uber Eats driver in December of 2024 will serve the rest of his life in prison. Francisco Garcia-Franco, was sentenced late Tuesday for the murder of Steven Keliiaa.
The shooting happened near Menaul Boulevard and Louisiana, where Keliiaa was driving delivering food and Garcia-Franco fired several gunshots into Keliiaa’s vehicle while he was driving and killing him. Garcia-Franco was found guilty in January of First Degree Murder and shooting at or from a Motor Vehicle resulting in Death. He was arrested thanks to security video from the area of the shooting.
22-year old Javier Irigoyen was also arrested in the shooting, he took a plea deal for drug trafficking and the murder charge was dropped.
