Vado, NM (KKOB) – Near Las Cruces, the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting involving a 14-year old male. The shooting was reported Wednesday night just after 7 p.m. in Vado, which is between El Paso and Las Cruces on Interstate 10.
The teen was airlifted to a trauma center and as of Thursday morning he was reported to be in stable condition.
The sheriff’s office reports two people have been identified as persons of interest in the shooting and charges are pending.
