A roundabout is coming to the intersection of NM State Road 333 and NM State Road 217 just west of Edgewood. NMDOT conducted a detailed traffic and safety study in 2025 evaluating three potential improvements to the intersection including enhanced signage, a traffic signal and a roundabout. The analysis found a roundabout offered the greatest reduction in congestion and crashes. Residents, commuters, and local businesses are encouraged to take part in a project survey to provide feedback and help guide the final design. The link to the survey can be found here:
