Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Jovan Martinez and Makaela Johnson were arrested by New Mexico State Police today. The pair are suspects in the shooting at an officer along US-285 on Monday near Vaughn. The couple were arrested in the Fort Sumner area near Billy the Kid Drive and Shady Tree Drive. The suspects were wanted on warrants including conspiracy to commit murder. DeBaca County Crime Stoppers was offering a $7,000 reward for information leading to a conviction.
