Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Daniel Hadders from Rio Rancho was sentenced to life in prison plus 30 and a half years on Tuesday for a murder that happened in February of 2024.
Local businessman Christopher Fallen, was found dead with his body bound with duct tape around his hands and shins, his head wrapped in tape, and a belt secured around his neck inside his home near Carlisle and Constitution. The Office of the Medical Investigator determined the cause of death to be asphyxiation.
Albuquerque police arrested Hadders and the victims roommate Andres Chavez for the murder. Chavez died of an overdose two months after the murder but police say he sent pictures of the victim to Hadders. Hadders was found guilty of murder, kidnapping and burglary. In court, he denied any participation in the killing of Christopher Fallen.
