Deputies say that a woman reported a man was armed with a gun inside the home and as they were responding to the call, they received word that shots had been fired.
Tijeras, NM (KKOB)- A child is dead and two others injured in a domestic violence incident in the Tijeras area in eastern Bernalillo County Tuesday morning.
Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a domestic violence incident just after 1:00 a.m. at 768 New Mexico State Road 333.
BCSO deputies say when they arrived at the scene, they found a child dead and a woman and another child were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The male suspect was taken into custody after using a taser.
The name of the suspect has not been released. The investigation continues in the area.
