San Juan County, NM (KKOB) – A murder investigation is underway in San Juan County after an 11-month old child was found dead Monday morning near Flora Vista, that’s between Aztec and Farmington in rural San Juan County. The initial call was made by the child’s mother on Sunday, when she reported that the child was missing. Authorities began a search for the child who was found dead in a remote location around 10 a.m. Monday.
San Juan County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating the child’s death as a homicide.
