Albuquerque, NM (KKOB)- A former Albuquerque Charter School Teacher has plead guilty on charges for Child Sexual Abuse.
Julian Gunther, pled guilty Wednesday to one count of Criminal Sexual Contact of a Child Under the age of 13.
The abuse involved a four-year-old child and occurred between October 21, 2024, and July 2025. while Gunther was living in the child’s home but was not related to her.
He was a former teacher at Rio Grande Academy of Fine Arts.
Gunther will be sentenced to 15 years in prison. He was also charged and convicted in a separate federal case.
