Albuquerque,NM (KKOB)- Albuquerque Fire and Rescue are investigating the cause of a major fire Wednesday night where several animals had to be rescued and at least 12 residents of the apartment complex were displaced.
Just after 6 p.m,. fire crews arrived at the two-story apartment complex located at 1109 Arizona SE. Flames and smoke was showing from more than one apartment when fire units arrived.
No injuries were reported, but a dog, two cats and two turtles were rescued however two cats are still missing. 12 people were displaced due to smoke, fire and water
damage to several apartments in the complex.
The investigation to the cause of the fire is ongoing.
