Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Two men were sentenced on Wednesday for their part in a robbery that then escalated into kidnapping and murder. Charles Robinson and Walter Eddings were found guilty in October for first-degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, aggravated burglary, and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary. They were also found guilty of kidnapping and tampering with evidence. The men robbed and murdered Antonio Sanchez in 2020. They each received life in prison plus 24 years. Three co-defendants in the case will be sentenced today.
