ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO – As energy costs continue to rise, PNM is offering help for New Mexicans struggling to pay their electric bills. Through its Good Neighbor Fund, the company provides up to $175 in assistance for eligible customers. Last year, PNM distributed more than $800,000 in bill help statewide.
PNM will kick off the new year by joining the MLK Commemorative March at Civic Plaza on Saturday, January 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., where representatives will offer on-site assistance.
To qualify, customers must bring a past-due PNM bill or disconnect notice, proof of participation in LIHEAP or SNAP, and a valid ID matching the account name. Seniors aged 60 and older can also apply, even without a past-due balance, if they meet income requirements.
For more details on eligibility and other assistance programs, visit PNM.com/help or contact the Good Neighbor Fund helpline at 505-526-1005.
