Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Nine creative arts organizations around the state received grants totaling over $463,000 to continue their creative businesses. The grants came from the state’s Economic Development Department and includes organizations in preforming arts, visual arts, crafts, woodworking, computer and software design, graphics design, culinary arts and museum professions. The grants are meant to help creative businesses grow with mentorship programs and professional support. The state has been distributing creative industry grants since 2023.
