Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A & E’s new true-crime docuseries, Crime in Progress will premiere tomorrow night and will feature the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s office. The episode titled, “Nowhere to Hide,” follows the case of Jaremy Smith, the suspect in the line of duty killing of NM State Police Officer, Justin Hare. Officer Hare was killed during a roadside encounter on I 40 near Tucumcari in March of 2024. Smith’s arrest came after a convenience store employee in Albuquerque recognized him and called authorities. Crime in Progress is an inside look at high-profile cases using body-worn camera video, surveillance footage and other real-time law enforcement recordings showing critical decisions as they happen.
