Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Two teens were playing with a gun in the parking lot of Atrisco Heritage High School in December of 2023. One teen was shot and killed when the gun accidentally went off. The family of Elijah Pohl-Morfin is now suing APS along with the other student, Adrian Martinez, and Martinez’s family for Elijah’s death. The lawsuit names Martinez’ parents because the suit claims the gun used in Elijah’s death belonged to them.
